Jammu, May 30 (KNO): Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Friday visited forward areas and posts in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri District to assess the operational readiness of the units and formations stationed there.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) during the visit, General Dwivedi was briefed by Formation Commanders on the current security situation and operational developments along the Line of Control. The briefing covered the strategic environment in the region and provided an update on the preparedness of the deployed forces.
Interacting with the troops, the Army Chief as per KNO lauded their performance in “Operation Sindoor” and commended all ranks for their conduct and readiness.
He underlined the need for continued vigilance and preparedness, noting the importance of maintaining agility and responsiveness amid evolving security conditions.
